Also learn about the Cascara and how you can dance to it, whether you dance On1 or On2.
This collection of 3 online classes is not simply choreography – there are short bits of choreographed footwork as examples, but the classes are more about helping you to dance salsa with more musicality. Having a greater understanding of how the rhythms are used in salsa will help you to pick them out in your dancing, and predict what might happen at a musical break.
Different aspects of the music are clearly explained with examples and exercises to help you understand the music better, and to make your dancing more musical. Hopefully it will also heighten your enjoyment of listening to salsa.
