These Salsa videos are literally the highlight of this lockdown. Dancing has been my one joy, and learning the new ones has been really fun – the most difficult by far was Gareth’s Pachanga – at least he started slow!
A new simplified pricing structure will take effect from 1st June 2025.
Class prices have not risen for the last 5 years and, although the basic price is going up, some prices are being reduced!
There will no longer be an extra charge to attend both salsa & bachata on the same night.

Absolute Beginners
We have fantastic 6-week courses in Salsa or Bachata for absolute beginners. We can help you go from having two left feet and no rhythm, to strutting your stuff on the social dance floor!

Our excellent online salsa course for Absolute Beginners, followed by our online salsa course for Improvers, are both available to purchase and keep.
Musicality – We have fantastic video courses at different levels. ‘Help with the Music’ helps with the basics in the music, which will give you confidence to ‘Find the 1’ and maintain your timing as you dance, as well as enhancing your listening experience of the music.
‘Dance with the Music’ will help you listen for clues in Salsa to interpret the music in your dancing.
‘Advanced Salsa Musicality’ will help you dance with the breaks and the instruments.

Salsa has been taught at Tracie’s Latin Club since 1996, and some of our team at Salsa Southampton have taught there since it opened. Our wonderful teachers have a wealth of experience, including several who have taught and/or performed at international congresses.
Party Nights & Events
Salsa Southampton does not run any party nights, but there are many events hosted by TLC.
