Covid Measures
In this very strange situation we all find ourselves, we unfortunately have to enforce some strict new rules for attending the club.
Please ensure you understand and abide by them when attending, as we will have to refuse entry if not.
This is for the safety of everyone, and to ensure that we are allowed to open. Sorry we have to be so draconian!
Please see our short video and the hall plan below for entry/exit, the one-way system & dance pods.
Short video guide for attending:
- Can I attend classes?
- Can I do partnerwork classes?
- Can I just turn up?
- Can I cancel a booking?
- Do I have to wear a mask?
- What can I bring?
- Can I buy a drink?
- Which door do I use?
- Arrival & departure
- Can I bring spectators?
- Will toilets be open?
- I′d like to know more!
Please do NOT join us if you :
are suffering from possible Covid symptoms (see below)
have had contact with someone who has had Covid in the last 14 days
are isolating with Covid, or shielding someone with Covid
should be in quarantine having returned from a designated high risk area
Please do not attend if you have any of the following symptoms:
a new continuous cough
a high temperature
a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)
Yes, but please book as a couple. You are now allowed to attend with anyone else (no longer restricted to support bubble). Please arrange this yourselves and agree on the measures you will take between you (e.g. taking a test)
Sorry – ALL classes must be booked in advance online, even if you subscribe.
This is because:
Places are strictly limited
We need to have cashless transactions
We have to collect Track & Trace information
Cancellations are possible if made 72 hours before class.
After this, please contact us to cancel and refunds will only be made if your place is resold and the class is full (unfortunately with numbers being so limited, we cannot otherwise meet costs).
Please DO wear a mask for entry and exit (due to pinch points along the way).
When you are in your dance pod you can remove your mask (you can continue to wear it if you prefer).
Guidance states that for aerobic activity indoors you do NOT have to wear a mask.
Please also ensure you have had a wash & wear clean clothes!
Please keep your belongings to a minimum, and only put them down within your dance pod – please change your shoes there.
DO bring your own drink as the KITCHEN will be CLOSED.
DO take your belongings home – we cannot keep any lost property!
NO – we’re sorry the KITCHEN is CLOSED, except to staff.
This includes tap water – please bring your own drink.
ENTRY via the BACK DOOR (to the left as you look from the road)
EXIT ONLY via the FRONT DOOR
Please be punctual – once a class has started the doors will be shut. If you do arrive late, please knock on a window
We have to clean between classes so doors will open once we have finished
Before doors are open, please wait in your car, or queue maintaining social distancing
Please use SANITISER on entry & exit
Please follow the one-way system
After class, please leave immediately so we can clean before the next class
We are sorry this doesn’t make it as sociable as usual inside – please DO socialise outside (with social distancing!)
NO – unfortunately there is a fixed capacity we are allowed, and social distancing needs to be maintained.
YES! But please try to minimise your use of them. As classes are only an hour, please try to hold it if you can!
If you do use the toilet, please use products provided to wipe the handle & seat BEFORE you use it, and ensure you wash your hands thoroughly afterwards.
We ask this not only for your own safety, but also so we can maintain high hygiene standards to prevent cross infection.
We will be cleaning the toilets between classes too.
If you want more detail about our Covid cleaning procedures or would like to read our risk assessment, you’re very keen!
